Hood River Distillers was on hand Wednesday evening at the Wine Country Cooking Studio in Dundee, now powered by Red Hills Market, to show off some of its newest spirits.
The company, perhaps best known for its Pendleton Canadian whisky, has expanded its line to include premium variations on the Pendleton recipe as well as a new bourbon whisky, "Trail's End."
Chef Kyle Rosalez paired the evening's offerings with pulled pork sliders and flambéed prosciutto-wrapped apples, showing that food pairings aren't just for wine.
Red Hills Market recently took over the studio located on its second floor. They will have few classes through spring and summer, but plan to really ramp up the events schedule come fall.
