The much anticipated Wolves & People Farmhouse Brewery will celebrate its opening day on Saturday, May 14. Founder Christian DeBenedetti, who grew up on the family farm now home to the brewery and went on to become a well-known beer journalist, and brewmaster Jake Miller, formally of Prairie Artisan Ales in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be pouring six to eight brews on opening day.
The farmhouse method involves using wild yeast from the farm, well water, house sour cultures and ingredients from as close as they can get them. For more, see the upcoming story on the brewery in Indulge Magazine, out May 20.
